I made all these photos from the plane’s window by a basic compact camera.
Next time I’m planning to be better equipped 😀

  1. Isabella, thank you for sharing, simply breathtaking!

  2. Wow that is so cool! I’ve never been able to get good shots from a plane and these are really amazing!

  3. Wow great pictures! But I’m now feeling very cold all of a sudden….

  4. Wow…nature’s artistry at its best. Very cool photos!!!

  5. you are right, they are great pics! quite surreal!

  6. Great images – you just wouldn’t get the same feeling about a place from the ground!

    • Hahah, I believe no one from his own choice would like to be in the middle of Siberia at winter 😉
The sad thing is that many people were sentenced to work in prison camps in Siberia and died there after the WW II. Fortunately some of them managed to survive and they returned homes. I even can’t imagine how difficult it was to survive there, so far away from… everything and everyone.

  7. Awesome shots!! Not bad for a compact camera ;-).

  8. So cool! (Both literally and figuratively!) And props to you for getting such good pictures out of a plane window with a point and shoot! 🙂

  9. Incredible shapes and textures! Mother Nature never ceases to amaze. And in this case, perspective is everything!

  10. Jasny gwint! Konicznie lepszy sprzęt następnym razem, bajkaaa!

  11. Beautiful images. Were they taken from a plane? I’d imagine winter in Siberia must be very harsh…

    • Yes, fortunately I was sitting by the window. Otherwise I would miss all that!
About the winter in Siberia… hard to imagine how people were able to survive…

  12. Well, your camera did well. Great shots!

  13. Amazing photos – the patterns and textures are like a work of art! Siberia fascinates me so much 🙂

  14. Niesamowita Rosja! Te zdjęcia to totalna abstrakcja, wygląda jak na innej planecie 🙂

  15. Those pics are stunning! I saw them somewhere before.

    • Thanks 😉 I wonder where you could see my pictures. Hmmm, maybe they were just very similar-looking…

  16. Fajne! Gdzie leciałaś? Korea?

  17. Amazing shots from Siberia!!! LOVE THEM!!

  18. Nice! It’s always amazing to get a view of a place from above–I love how frozen and empty everything is!

  19. 🙂 Beautiful photos, I’m jealous that you had that kind of opportunity 🙂

    • Thanks!
I believe people who didn’t sit next to the windows were a little bit pissed off (or they didn’t know that they missed something 😉 )
